Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken Use pre-cooked chicken or boil/bake your own.
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened) Ensure it's softened for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce Adjust amount based on desired spice level.
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Add creaminess to the dip.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Reserve half for garnishing.

Method

Preparation
  1. If using raw chicken, boil or bake it until fully cooked, then shred it with two forks.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and sour cream. Stir until well blended.
  3. Fold in the shredded chicken and half of the shredded cheddar cheese into the creamy mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture to your crock pot and spread it evenly.
Cooking
  1. Cook on high for 1 to 2 hours, or on low for 3 to 4 hours. Stir occasionally until bubbly and heated through.
  2. Once heated, sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top and cover for 10-15 minutes to let melt.
  3. Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers.

Notes

For added flavor, use roasted or grilled chicken. Adjust buffalo sauce to preference, and keep the dip warm while serving.
