Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash the apples and carefully remove the cores, creating a hollow center for the cheesecake filling.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Beat until smooth.
- Fold in the crushed graham crackers to the cheesecake mixture until well combined.
- Fill each apple with the cheesecake mixture generously.
- Place the filled apples in a baking dish and sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top.
Baking
- Bake the apples for about 25-30 minutes, or until they’re tender and the filling is slightly puffed and golden.
- Let them cool slightly before serving, then drizzle with caramel sauce or add whipped cream if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
