  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar Adjust according to sweetness preference.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon Plus more for sprinkling on top.
  • 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers For added texture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash the apples and carefully remove the cores, creating a hollow center for the cheesecake filling.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Beat until smooth.
  4. Fold in the crushed graham crackers to the cheesecake mixture until well combined.
  5. Fill each apple with the cheesecake mixture generously.
  6. Place the filled apples in a baking dish and sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top.
Baking
  1. Bake the apples for about 25-30 minutes, or until they’re tender and the filling is slightly puffed and golden.
  2. Let them cool slightly before serving, then drizzle with caramel sauce or add whipped cream if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
