  • 2 cups cooked rice white or brown
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets steamed until tender
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or your favorite variety
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz, or homemade version
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs optional, for topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, steamed broccoli, shredded cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed and the broccoli is evenly distributed.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top for a crunchy finish.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown on top.

Notes
