Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken can use rotisserie chicken
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce your choice of heat level
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese optional
  • chopped green onions for garnish optional

Method

Preparation
  1. If using raw chicken, season and cook it first until tender, then shred it. Alternatively, use a rotisserie chicken.
  2. In the crock pot, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, and cheddar cheese. Stir until evenly mixed.
  3. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for about 2 to 3 hours, or until the dip is thoroughly heated and the cheese is melty. Stir occasionally.
  4. Optional: Mix in the crumbled blue cheese about 15 minutes before serving for extra tangy flavor.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy with chips, veggies, or crusty bread.

Notes

Adjust the heat with buffalo sauce and ensure cream cheese is well-softened for a creamy consistency. Prepare ahead and reheat for best flavor. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
