Ingredients

For the pie
  • 1 piece prepared pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional, for topping) Sprinkle on top for added flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  5. Carefully pour the custard mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  6. If desired, sprinkle ground nutmeg over the top.
Baking
  1. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the custard is set and slightly jiggly in the center.
  2. Allow the pie to cool completely before slicing.
Serving
  1. Slice the pie, serve with your preferred toppings, and enjoy!
