  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook it according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  4. Lower the heat and carefully add the heavy cream to the tomato mixture. Stir until everything is well incorporated and creamy. Season with dried Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, adding a bit of reserved pasta water if needed to reach your desired consistency.
