Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or your preferred cut)
  • 1 lb baby potatoes (halved or quartered)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Method

Cooking Potatoes
  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the halved baby potatoes, season them with salt and pepper, and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and tender.
Preparing Steak
  1. While the potatoes are cooking, cut your steak into bite-sized pieces. Season generously with salt and pepper.
Cooking Steak
  1. Push the potatoes to one side of the skillet and add the remaining olive oil.
  2. Add the steak pieces to the skillet and cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until browned. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
Making Sauce
  1. Add the minced garlic to the skillet with the steak and potatoes.
  2. Pour in the butter, allowing it to melt and coat everything beautifully. Stir to mix well.
Serving
  1. Once everything is well combined and cooked through, remove from heat.
  2. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, consider serving with a simple side salad or steamed green beans. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.
