  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season your chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream with the ranch dressing mix and stir until well mixed.
  4. Coat the seasoned chicken breasts generously with the creamy mixture and place them in a greased baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the chicken, covering it evenly.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the sour cream mixture for a couple of hours before cooking. Cheese options may include mozzarella or pepper jack for variation. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
