  • 10-12 pieces Twinkies, sliced in half lengthwise
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping
  • to taste Sprinkles for garnish (optional) Add for decoration

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the milk and the instant vanilla pudding mix. Whisk for about 2 minutes until the mixture thickens. Set aside.
  2. In a 9x13 inch dish, lay half of the sliced Twinkies down in an even layer, cut side up.
  3. Pour the prepared vanilla pudding over the Twinkies, using a spatula to spread it evenly.
  4. Prepare the chocolate pudding using the same method as the vanilla pudding. Once ready, pour it over the vanilla pudding layer.
  5. In a bowl, gently fold half of the whipped topping into the chocolate pudding until well blended. Spread this mixture evenly over the chocolate pudding layer.
  6. Now, top with the remaining Twinkies, cut side up.
  7. Finish with the rest of the whipped topping, spreading it evenly. If you’d like, sprinkle some colorful sprinkles on top for extra pizzazz!
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight. Serve chilled and enjoy your creamy creation!

Notes

Chill thoroughly for best texture. Serve fresh within the week to prevent sogginess. Feel free to experiment with other pudding flavors.
