- Grease your slow cooker with cooking spray and layer the coated apples evenly at the bottom.

- In a separate bowl, mix together rolled oats, flour, melted butter, and salt. Sprinkle this mixture generously over the apple layer.
Cooking
- Cover your slow cooker and set it on low for about 4 to 5 hours, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Serving
- Once cooked, let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
Notes
For ideal results, use a mix of sweet and tart apples. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to three months.
