- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure everything cooks evenly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and Buffalo wing sauce. Mix until smooth, ensuring there are no lumps.
- Stir in the shredded chicken, ranch dressing, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, and blue cheese (if using) until everything is well incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a couple of minutes before garnishing with chopped green onions for that pop of color.
- Serve it warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or even sliced baguette—and enjoy!
Notes
Adjust the heat factor by using more or less Buffalo wing sauce. For a healthier option, swap the cream cheese with Greek yogurt. Be careful not to overbake to avoid drying out the dip. Consider mixing in some sautéed garlic or onion for added depth. Leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days in the fridge.
